Notice of race
DISCIPLINES
There will be three disciplines – surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. All disciplines will be judged on surfing waves or jumps and tricks performed during riding the wave. Overall impression on mastering the ocean best at the actual conditions, with free choice of Equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifying is open to anyone. Participants of each discipline will advance from the qualifying round to the finals. Participants will be pre-qualified and seeded. There will be a total of max 32 participants for the Finals
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for the overall winner,2nd and 3rd. and winner of each discipline (surf, windsurf, kitesurf), best woman, future master.
CATEGORIES
There will be only one category open to anyone. There is no separate Category for different ages or women.
RULES
Fair play is imperative (especially in waves) Competitors should compete according to right of way standards. Head Judge may remove or disqualify a competitor if he feels minimum fair play threshold has been crossed. In addition to these guidelines, a list of house rules will be posted at the event. Failure to comply with these rules may also result in immediate Disqualification In the event of sickness or injury a substitute competitor will be used.
SCORING
The weighting of each discipline is the same and the overall master of the ocean winner will be who takes best ranking in all 3 disciplines In the event of a tie the head judge will have the final vote.
