A waterman himself with years of experience as a pro, Marcus Bohm is the man behind Master Of The Ocean. He has been the organizer of the event since 2001, when the first ever Master Of The Ocean took place in Cabarete, making it the first and only competition of its kind in world.

Pajko is the creative soul for Master Of The Ocean. He oversees all promotional and marketing materials design and production. A very talented graphics designer, Pajko also draws comic books and custom surfboard and kiteboard designs. He’s the go to man for cool custom board designs:)
He’s originally from Serbia, now living and loving it in the DR.

While in the DR and when he’s not in the office, Laurentiu can be found surfing and kitesurfing on the north shore beaches of Cabarete. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Laurentiu is in charge of the online marketing and communcation for the event. 2010 is the first year he’s been involved with Master Of The Ocean and hopefully, many more.

Also from Toronto, Alex is participating in the web development and all online technical aspects for Master Of The Ocean. He’s the event’s technical expert.
In his spare time Alex is a passionate surfer and kitesurfer, always ripping the waves and partying in Cabarete’s hottest bars.

Originally from beautiful St.Petersburg, Russia, Julia is overseeing most of the event’s production aspects. Currently living in Cabarete, Julia’s been successfully involved with Master Of The Ocean for the past 3 editions and we hope many more to come. She is also an avid surfer and one of Cabarete’s well known socialites.
